Southern Paiute Consortium

The Southern Paiute Consortium (SPC) is an entity created in 1993 by and for its member tribes – the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians and the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah – to improve the participation of those federally recognized tribes in the Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Program (GCDAMP). This website was created to provide information about the SPC, the relationship of Southern Paiutes to the Colorado River and the region surrounding it, and Southern Paiute concerns about the operations of the Glen Canyon Dam.
